The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Dhaka introduced the ‘Dutabash’ Mobile Application in order to provide digital consular and welfare services to Bangladesh citizens at home and abroad. The Application is an extension of the vision of building Digital Bangladesh. The application offers a dynamic platform to the citizens of Bangladesh through which a citizen can apply and avail at least 32 types of services from their convenient location. The digital attestation will be provided using a system generated unique QR code instead of manual seal-signature attestation system. The QR code can be read using any QR code reader device or application to determine authenticity of the attestation. Besides, the QR code label will show a Unique Identification Number (UID) and can be used to verify the document from the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Dhaka.
